Hilton Head Vacation 2011

We had THE MOST amazing time in HH. Our condo was huge. The song that kept coming to mind was style of the rich and the famous. This place was fit for a KING. It was beautiful. I never wanted to leave. We spent our days at the pool, on the beach, shopping and eating. It was perfect. Marcus had the time of his life. We went with my Mom, Step Dad, Sister Devy and Sister Aurora. So here are some pictures of the trip. There are too many so if you want to see them all go to FB. But these are some of the ones that mean the most to me and memories I will treasure forever. I am so greatful to my mom and stepdad for making this vacation possible and helping with Marcus and spoiling the 9 month preggo.

My mom and Devy

Mom and Bubba playing in the water, more like Marcus playing and my mom chasing him. lol

35 weeks pregnant!!

35 weeks pregnant
5 weeks LEFT!!!

Baby's size? She weighs about 5lbs and is about 18in long
according to Babycenter =)

Stretch marks: Well the 2 "new" ones really were bug bites and are now gone. But the ones I got from Marcus are starting to get darker. I think it has something to do with being out by the pool all day and maybe getting sunburnt last week.

Sleep: Lots and Lots of sleep (had the flu this weekend)
Total weight gain: 26lbs =( I passed my only 25lb goal.

Best moment this week: Watching my little boy feel his sister kick for the first time and about having a heart attack when he felt it. He has felt her before. But those times it was when he was snuggling with me and she would kick his side or somewhere. But hes never had his hand on my belly and had her kick him. It was incredible.

Movement: She's a kicking machine!!

Food cravings: Pizza only cause it has garlic all over it. lol. My fascination with garlic needs to end or people are going to stop hanging out with me cause I will smell like bad garlic. lol.

Symptoms: Umm none really
Belly Button in or out: Still flat

Gender: Still Miss Tenley Grace

What I miss: The thing I miss this week is not being able to bend down and pick up stuff without it being a chore to get back up. lol

What I'm looking forward to: Going to the beach and relaxing this next week

Milestones: n/a

Emotions: Content =)

Congrats to my AWESOME Husband

After over 2 years of trying to get promoted my Husband is FINALLY a SGT! I say it like that because in Dec of 08 he re-enlisted and changed his MOS. He was weeks away from being sent to the board to be promoted. He was unaware that he was about to be sent to the board and once they found out he re-enlisted for a different MOS they took his name off the list. Well once he finished school and got to his new base he realized that it would be a long and hard road to be able to be sent to the board. He took classes and excelled at everything he did and finally after over a year they sent him to the board. After he passed the board it was all on him to get promoted. His points were just so ridiciously high, it was like looking at an impossible task. Well 7 months after going to the board he reached his points and got promoted this past week. So as you can see it has been a long long long road and all his hard work has paid off. So I wanted to do something special to make all his hard work seem like it was worth it. Of course he gets promoted only days after deploying. So it kind of makes spoiling him a little hard. But I did the best I could with his box. It kind of looks like it vomitted up red, white and blue but you get the idea.
Before....

After. =)

So there's Chris's first box. We are calling it his Congrats Box. Its also fitting with 4th of July coming up. haha. Chris will probably kill me for this box but its the only way I could really show just how proud I was of him and all his hard work.

Simple Days

We have not been up to much this week. Just getting everything done for our week long vacation at the beach, which starts this SATURDAY!!! So since we have been inside packing and running a few errands I have been having to entertain Marcus inside. So here's a look into our relaxed week so far.
It started with some flash card fun.
He is such a ham. Dont mind both of our just got out of bed looks

He is growing up right before my eyes.

"He's signing for more cards"

He totally loved the idea of putting the cards on my belly because they stayed. lol.

Cracking up cause the cards all fit on my belly.

Add in some Leg-go playing. He has more fun building it and then destroying it. Because I cant bend down over and over and over again and pick up each leg-go,  I made him clean it all up and yes ladies and gentlemen he did pick up every single leg-go. =)

Happy we were going to play with his Leg-gos.

The start of our castle

It kept growing....

And growing....

Then he destroyed the whole thing

The start of him cleaning them up
Almost done cleaning. Note his tongue sticking out of his mouth. Why this matters you ask? Because when my mom concentrates she sticks out her tongue as do I and I think its awesome he picked up this trait.

Here's one last set of pictures. These are mainly for my Husband cause he will get a kick out of them. =)

Honey I think this is something we will need to get you once you get home. =) Your son wants one. He didnt want to get off. So if you get one of these maybe I can get my washer and dryer. Humm what do you say? =P
